Eligibility and Requirements

Volta Academy now includes four phases that participants will be able to start at any time, and is offered for free. There will be a continuous intake of participants, and sessions will be offered on an ongoing basis. Participants will get access to curated and custom content from a variety of global and local tech and innovation leaders. Program content varies between each Academy, and is developed based on participant feedback and industry trends. 

The program will be offered in a “flipped classroom” approach, to maximize the time participants have to ask questions and get guidance on issues they are running into when applying concepts to their startup. Participants can watch pre-recorded content and complete assignments prior to attending scheduled classes. In this approach, participants have the opportunity to apply the ideas covered in the education and bring their questions to class, so that everyone can benefit from the peer-to-peer setting.
