France 2030 Regionalized | Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur Innovation Projects
This "Innovation Projects" action from the fourth Regionalized Future Investments Program (PIA) targets SMEs and intermediate-sized companies engaged in research, development, and innovation (including non-technological innovation) to promote their growth and competitiveness. The projects expected under this call for projects must fit within the framework of the Regional Economic Development, Innovation, and Internationalization Scheme (SRDEII) of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region (which sets the strategic directions of regional policies for economic development and business aid), the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3), or the current Regional Climate Plan. The strategic fields and key technologies in which projects must be aligned to be eligible are: Naturalness Energy transition Ecological transition Aerospace, security, defense Intelligent, communicative, and secure technologies Optics, photonics Green chemistry and advanced materials Tourism, culture, sports Health and silver economy Blue economy Each field is detailed in the call for projects.

Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible for the "Innovation Projects" action, your company must:
- Be categorized as a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) or an Intermediate-sized Enterprise (ETI) under EU definitions, potentially in the process of being established, according to Articles 1832 and following of the Civil Code, registered with the Trade Register, and located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur;
- Be up-to-date with fiscal and social obligations as well as any debts to the Region and Bpifrance;
- Be eligible for state aid and not be in financial difficulties under European Union standards.
The main criteria for eligibility and selection of winning projects are precisely defined in the call for projects' specifications.
Important: Candidate companies must have, at the time of application submission, an amount of equity or quasi-equity at least equivalent to the public aid requested.
