The Momentum support service for high-potential innovative companies (formerly known as PMEit) aims to provide intensive, tailor-made support to help young innovative companies in the commercialisation phase to move rapidly into growth.

Eligibility and Requirements
Designed by and for Quebec's network of accelerators and managed by MAIN, Momentum draws on the network and expertise of more than 50 accelerators and support organisations to identify and support businesses across Quebec in order to improve their chances of success.
The aim? By 2023, to help up to 375 of Quebec's most promising start-ups move rapidly from the commercialisation phase to the growth phase.
by providing intensive, affordable coaching and expertise that will generate
- enhancing entrepreneurial skills
- developing a network of peers and elite coaches and experts
- infusion of new money (sales, financing and investment)
TARGET COMPANIES
- Companies with their head office in Quebec
- With an established business model based on an innovative product or service
- With strong growth potential (business model with potential for scale)
- Credible market validation (sales, pre-orders, agreement with at least one customer, etc.)
- In the early stages of commercialisation (sales of $2,000,000 or less)
- With at least 2 co-founders or full-time employees
Support offered in the form of personalised, tailor-made
- tailored to the company's needs
- worth up to $75,000 (250-400 hours of support)
- that encourages coaches and experts to work with the founding team, not for them
- at an affordable price (15% to 20% of the value of the services received, depending on the maturity of the company)
- with terms and conditions that take account of the realities of young innovative companies (fast turnaround times; flexible duration, pace and type of support; simple financial terms and conditions).
Momentum is available to social economy businesses (co-ops and NPOs) that meet the above eligibility criteria. The service has also set itself the goal of supporting at least 20% of impact businesses by 2023.
ADMISSION PROCESS
Eligible companies currently supported by a Momentum partner accelerator are invited to contact their support partner to express their interest in the service and begin the application process.
Companies not currently supported by a partner accelerator can complete the eligibility form below, and the MAIN team will follow up promptly. If they are deemed eligible, they will then be put in touch with a partner accelerator to develop their application.
Their application will then be assessed by one of the service's assessment committees. These independent committees are made up of experts, accelerator representatives and entrepreneurs, and their aim is to improve the support plans and ensure that they meet the needs of the companies.

A PAN-QUEBEC NETWORK OF ACCELERATOR-RELAYERS
Momentum companies are supported by the service's accelerator-relayers, who are located across Quebec and serve companies from a wide range of sectors.
