Eligibility and Requirements
HERstory Connections Business Grants requires the following:
* 51% or more Female Founded and/or Owned Businesses
* Business must have LESS than 60 Employees
* Must be a HERstory Connections Member (priority given to VIP Gold Tier Members)
* A For Profit or Not For Profit business model as an active, valid & existing company/organization
* Detail what is the product or service of the business
* Details on what the money, if granted, would be used for as it must be business related purposes ONLY
* Brief history of the business and why you started the business
In the application process, you will be asked a series of questions about your business. Your answers will be presented to our screening committee, so be sure they are as accurate as possible. Be ready to complete the application in one session.
There are NO fees to apply. The main requirement is that it is a primarily female founded and owned business (51% or more) and a member of HERstory Connections (www.herstorymade.com).
As part of our application process, you will need to submit your personal and business information. In addition, if your application submission is approved, we will conduct our own due diligence related to your business including verification to insure we are funding valid and existing female founded companies. We reserve the right to pass on an application or make any changes to this program for any reason and at our sole discretion and without notification. By submitting your application, you agree that if selected as a winner to have you and your business likeness and logo used, royalty free without compensation to you, worldwide at our discretion in promotion of any funds awarded.
Due to the volume of applications received, we will only be able to contact those who have been selected as we do not provide additional feedback on applications. Deadline is February 28th for the first round of 2023. Winners will be notified directly. All winners are responsible for any taxes for their grant. Please do NOT submit multiple applications as it will get your submissions disqualified and deleted. Thank you again for your application submission.
