TEQ - Renoclimat - Improving air tightness
Air tightness work consists in caulking the areas most susceptible of having air leaks in order to avoid air intake (cold air infiltration) on the one hand, and heat loss (warm air exfiltration) on the other hand. The air tightness level is measured during a blower door test. It is expressed in the rate of air changes per hour (ACH). The evaluation report of your home will indicate this rate as well as the rate you could reach by carrying out air tightness work. Financial assistance is granted based on whether the air infiltration reduction target indicated in your evaluation report is reached or exceeded.
