Agriculture Training Program NWT
Could you or your business benefit from skills development and training opportunities? This program provides funding to help you access these opportunities and help advance agriculture as a whole in the NWT. -Up to $5000 per year is available for participation in commercial agriculture-oriented courses, training, or conferences.

Eligibility and Requirements
Company Requirements
- NWT residents who are experienced and/or new entrants into agricultural food production as well as agri-food processing business and/or involved in northern-based agri-businesses.
Eligible Activities
- Eligible costs include: Tuition, training and course fees
- Registration fees
- Instructor/ speaker fees
- Educational materials
- Travel expenses (Note: travel costs must be consistent with GNWT travel expense guidelines).
Application Requirements
- A completed Canadian Agriculture Partnership application form providing detailed information including: a plan detailing costs, a description of the venue and program, and benefits of the training to their business
