Alberta Innovates - Commercialization Associates Level 2

The Industry Commercialization Associates Program (the “Program”) was created to assist Alberta SME’s in commercializing innovative technologies. The program financially supports employees with expertise in commercializing novel technology. Supported SMEs must have technologies with strong product validation, proven product-market fit, and a strong commercialization strategy. The purpose is to derisk feasible technological solutions, support emerging technologies, and serve as a catalyst for the development and implementation of innovative technology products that can generate economic, social, and environmental benefit for Albertans.

Eligibility and Requirements

Eligible applicants must be Alberta-based with technologies in the mid-to-late developmental stages. In some cases, this may include some early developmental stages. Determine your Technology Readiness Level.

Additionally, eligible applicants must be in the financial position to commit a minimum 25% cash contribution of the total eligible project cost.
